What is a Webinar?
Webinars are a new educational tool that allows interactive, educational seminars to be presented via the Internet. The simple requirements of a computer and a internet connection allow you to join a Webinar session for a live presentation or for an archived recording. An interactive experience is experienced by the usage of audio, video, slide presentation, polling questions and Q&A sessions. The webinar is reshaping the educational landscape!
Live Webinar or Archived?
You make the choice between the live session or the recorded session. The live Webinar occurs during the scheduled period and allows the user to have live interaction with the presenter. Whereas the recording archived webinar is a recording of the live session and posted on website to view at your convenience.
Technical Aspects
What are the system requirements to view the Webinar?
You will need a computer with an Internet connection and speakers/headphones. You can check out specific requirements and test your system at www.webex.com.
What if the computer setup does not have speakers/audio? Can I phone in?
Yes, you will be able to hear the audio portion of the webinar through the use of a telephone using the teleconference number provided during the session.
Registration
What is the Cost to Register?
Most Green Mechanical Education Webinars are $50.00/session. All you have to do is complete the registration fields and wait for the live event or access the archived version.
How Long Do I Have To Access A Paid Webinar Once Purchased?
Once you have successfully registered for any Green Mechanical Education Webinar, you will have access from the date of the live event through the archive (12 months.) You can login and view as many times as you like!
How Do I pay for the Webinar?
Green Mechanical Education uses PayPal to allow you to purchase access to the firm's Webinars?
Are Refunds Available?
Refunds are unfortunately now available for purchased sessions. If the live event is missed the user will have access to the archived Webinar for a period of 12 months.How is the Payment processed and Do I receive a receipt?
Upon successful registration, you will receive an email confirmation within 15 minutes. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail containing the link to the event lobby and your password, please head back to the registration page and view the important instructions near the bottom for clarification. If you still aren't sure, you can email us at registration@greenmechanicaleducation.com for help.
A receipt of payment will be issued upon successful registration for your records. If the receipt is not received contact registration@greenmechanicaleducation.com.
What if I Did Not Receive a Confirmation E-mail?
You may need to add the domain webex.com to your safe sender's list. Please do so, and then check your junk and spam email for confirmation. If you still do not see it, email registration@greenmechanicaleducation.com with the Webinar title in the subject line.
Viewing
Where and When Can I Login My Purchased Webinar?
The lobby page and Webinar are all located at the same web address. If you haven't bookmarked this page you can find it at greenmechanicaleducation.webex.com.
The lobby will open 15 minutes prior to the event beginning. We suggest you login at this time to ensure computer compatibility.
What if I miss the Webinar that I Purchased Registration For?
The Webinar archive will be available for viewing for 12 months. Within 48 hours of the live event, you will receive an email that the archive is available and can be found at the same web address as the live event.
During the Live Webinar How Do I Submit Questions?
While viewing the Webinar, there will be a place to type your question. Once submitted, the presenters will address audience questions during the Q&A session. If time runs out and your question does not get answered, every effort will be made to follow-up in an email after the Webinar.
Can I Download A Copy Of The Webinar?
The Webinar archive is available for 12 months from the date of the live event. During that time you can login and view the Webinar as many times as you like, and download a podcast or a copy of the slide presentation. Unfortunately, there is no option to download the entire Webinar at this time.
