Michael
Tiffe, CET,LEED® AP, QCxP is president of TAB Mechanical Inc., a building
commissioning firm providing commissioning services, construction management,
and LEED® consulting.
Mr. Tiffe has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry having
worked as a tradesman, construction manager, designer and owner. Projects
have involved all aspects of the industrial, commercial and institutional
sectors of the building market.
As a LEED accredited professional and commissioning provider, Mr. Tiffe's
primary focus is within the sustainable sector of the construction market;
providing assistance to others to achieve a greener planet. A graduate
of Humber College in Environmental Systems Energy - Energy Management
Technologist program, Mr. Tiffe recently had the pleasure of serving as
partial load faculty; completing the circle of education. With additional
associates' degrees in Construction Supervision and Industry Training
from Washtenaw College, Mr. Tiffe has enhanced his knowledge base to provide
all encompassing training.
Presently pursing his Bachelor Degrees in HVAC/R Technology from Ferris
State and Technical/Professional Studies from the National Labor College,
Mr. Tiffe constantly increases the depth of his knowledge and his ability
to assist others in their various pursuits. A graduate of the Instructor
Training Program of the United Association of Pipefitters, Plumbers, Sprinklerfitters
and Service Technicians, Mr. Tiffe is a part-time instructor for UA Local
787 (Refrigeration Workers of Ontario) developing and delivering continuing
education seminars to the membership. With involvement in ASHRAE, OACETT,
USGBC and BAC amongst others, Mr. Tiffe proudly serves on the Education
committee of the Canada Green Building Council as well as the Operations
Taskforce (LEED-EBOM) of the CaGBC. Mr. Michael Tiffe can be reached at
